Amber lives what she would call a "great life": she\'s an only child, has the highest possible school grades and a best friend to match. What her calculations can\'t quite foresee is that William\'s admittedly noble intentions will turn him into a completely different person... and that there\'s a secret he will never be able to tell her... and that her own perception will undergo unwanted changes. An excruciating battle is about to be fought; a different kind of battle, the kind that tears you up from the inside and leaves the outside seemingly unscathed. But even when her own mind harbours a war of memories and emotions, Amber\'s grades will survive. They always do. Embark on a journey through the ever-more-present past, where memories clash with reason; a journey of ceaseless tragedy sprinkled with much-needed humour.
